My company wrote a Firefox plug-in in about 3 dev weeks, and 3 months later
we're still wrestling through some goofy issues with IE7 Protected Mode and
some strange behavior in the COM DHTML interfaces in an effort to redevelop
the same functionality in IE.

the hiding and showing the
menu bar, which in turn affect

Installed IE7 last week.   I decided to customize the toolbar with only
buttons I wanted (removed RSS Feed for example).  
I noticed today that when I start IE7, it flashes the default toolbar (with
the RSS Feed Button on it) momentarily then shows my customized tool bar.  

When I go to print from Internet Explorer the following error message appears.
Cannot find file////C:users/Elizab~1/Appdata/local/temp/low/foylu56t.htim
(the last part changes each time you try to print a page from the web.) Make
sure the path or Internet address is correct.

I am looking for a feature that was in IE6. When I was logged on to an
FTP-server, I could pick the function 'log on as' from the 'file'-menu. This
function is missing in IE7.
When the FTP-server allows anonymous logon, I cannot log on as real user.

since I installed IE 7 I can no longer read PDF files in web sites.
Is this a common problem, and is it perhaps related to the issue of images
not shown.

Win XP Pro SP2, IE7. when logging on as the default profile, Flash Player
operates as designed,but when log off and then log on as a different user ( 3
user profiles set up) Flash player will not load and am prompted to load the

For years we have been running an activex object for printing, in the
last two or three months we have been experiencing problems.  
We have an object that shows and prints tiff files.  The print is
controlled from javascript through an exposed method in the object.
