I exported my favourites from my XP desktop and imported them on my vista
laptop using the import wizard on Internet explorer. I got a message that the
favourites were successfully imported but when I clicked on the FAVORITES
menu..I was not able to see any favorites..

How do I identify, download and activate "blank programs" at times showing up
on visiting websites. A red X is all I see. How do I find out what is
"hiding" behind the red x-es? My ISP provider mentioned Java was needed. Java
Run Time however is installed on my Vista.

I am pulling my hairs out. IE adds extra space below an image when I align
it at the bottom inside a table cell.
Firefox and Opera render as expected.

Why does a small popup window continuously appears?  It states navigation to
the webpage was canceled.  This happens even when IE is closed.  I have to
cntrl>alt>dlete to task manager to close each and every time.

I like the pop up supressing on IE7 except when i want one - It gives me
these options:
1. Temporarily allow pop-ups - No Thanks! god knows what i might get
infested with

I noticed in the Task Manager that there is always an Iexplorer.exe process
running even though there is no IE window open.  It always has a memory usage
of around 4.7 MB. If I end the process, it will restart after a few seconds.

In order to see latest e-mails in my inbox, I have to click on refresh or
"InBox".  Is there any way I can avoid the second step.  I belive there is a
way to have the latest version of a webpage load in the settings, but I am
not sure if that is the issue.

Whenever I use Ctrl-F to <Find on this page> in IE 6, it kills my
browser.  The browser says it needs to restart and offers to send an
error report to Microsoft.
