This is something I have done many times.  I'm sure that I used View/Toolbars
and then clicked Address Bar to view or not to view.  It may even have been
displayed when I clicked View.   However the Address bar doesn't appear in
either the View or Toolbars.

FYI – The new version of MS Explorer (7.0.5730.13) is the slowest browser I
have ever used, bar none….My system “updated me” automatically today to this
new version, and it is super slow.
I have immediately switched now to Firefox and have noticed much better page

I've been accessing my Internet Explorer by clicking on "Windows Update" in
my start menu. I checked in my program files and the folder for IE is still
there and there are folders and files in it, but the IE icon that is usually

When I try to access a FTP site I receive the following message:

I've always used a custom local HTML file as my start page, but now when I
open it in IE7, I get the warning "To help protect your security, Internet
Explorer has restricted this file from showing active content that could
access your computer. Click here for options."

I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium and (i think) IE 7. Can someone please
tell me which folder my favorites should be in? For some reason they have all
moved into  c:\myname\incomplete. I've tried moving them to
c:\myname\favorites but they don't show up in IE

I am having a problem that I know at least one other person had. I
have Windows XP Home Edition and have been using Internet Explorer 7
for few months without any problems. All of a sudden I cannot view any
web pages in IE 7, but can use the AOL and Firefox browsers with no

New Vista pre loaded, I exported XP IE6 Favorites, copied the file to Vista
PC, imported them, but clicking on Favorates tab says empty, Yet when viewig

I have been unable to access hotmail on my browser (IE7). It was working fine
earlier... but not sure from what point it didnt start working....
I installed firefox.. and even that didnt help... I also made changes to the

I can't open any documents (bank statements, perscription forms) on other

IE won't launch when I click it in the start menu.  It just displays the
property dialog box.  If I go to outlook and open an email, and click any
link in an email message, it works fine.
Any ideas ??
