And most fascinating: IE tab plugin in Mozilla WORKS! So I can access Windows update from Mozilla, but can't from IE7. Well, I really hate this. Does someone have some idea what could be wrong? Tnx, F

A few days ago I inadvertently installed IE7.0 and decided I hated it so I uninstalled it and I'm currently running IE6.0 SP2 which is what I had before. Since I uninstalled 7.0, my left search pane doesn't work like it used

We just bought a used Dell laptop. It has IE7 on it. I hate IE7. I hate the tabbed browser, I hate the way the url is located above the command bar, I hate the way I can't change it to the way I prefer it to look. Is it possible to uninstall IE7 without destroying the system? ...

after having all of my cookies dumped by the new Adaware, when I went to YouTube it was set the czech YouTube.. Over on the top right of the page you can change the country... but usa is not there, so for now I have it set to Canada. I went into my preferences

Hi, I am unable to change the Auto Complete section of IE7 as it is greyed out? It tells me some settings are controlled by the "system administrator", but that is me?? Or it there a Group Policy thing on My PC that needs adjusting???

IE7 does not display MHT files anymore, it use to work flawlessly with double click, now I get "Address Not Valid" error, I did do a Windows Update today, I wonder it the IE7 security update rollup caused this? KB942615 Anybody having the same issue? I have not tried it offline.

Hello again, I can select the MenuItem "Enable or Disable Add-ons", but noting happens, that means the Add-ons Dialog is not shown. Any hints?

When I try to use Page - Send Page/Link by email, I get the following result - an IE tab with "Fatal Login Error. hr = 80041035, f = -2147217355". (Preceding this, I got a login screen requesting my Microsoft Passport login, which I entered (correctly).)

I tested the following on XP Service Pack 2 and Vista running IE 7. I am launching a local HTM file through the IE context menu. All goes according to plan except the resulting window is too large and cannot be resized.
