MS IE Redirects my home page to IE7 GetItNow page upon first starting01 Jan 2008 04:49 GMT4
Decided to finally update to IE 7 on my machine and after what was
thought to be a successful install (including the patch and security
update) every time I first open IE the browser redirects from my set
home page (google) to the stupid IE & Get It Now page.

I recently upgraded to IE 7 and have since discovered a blue rectangle on my
desktop. I can move the rectangle, but it doesn't appear to do anything. If I
move it over an existing icon it covers it and cannot be placed in the trash.
When I click on the IE 7 icon the box changes ...

I just purchased a Lenovo X61 Tablet with XP and Office 2007, included in the
installation was IE 7.  For a number of reasons I'd like to use IE 6 rather
than 7.  Is there a way to do this without causing problems with Office 2007?

I know there was a thread on this somewhere, but I am unable to locate it now.
I have Vista Home and IE7 on my new laptop (6 mos old). Up until last week,
everything worked fine.  All of a sudden, I can't get to any page that has a

Trying to sort the following prob out on my sister's PC:
Running IE6 on XP2 Home.
IE opens on home page fine. When you try to click on another link or type in
new address a new blank IE window tries to open but just freezes. The only

For some reason I am no longer able to download from within IE 7.0.
The dialog box immediately goes to the "Getting File information"
Dialog box without ever going to the Save As option dialog box. The
Getting File Information just stays at 0% forever without doing
