Decided to finally update to IE 7 on my machine and after what was thought to be a successful install (including the patch and security update) every time I first open IE the browser redirects from my set home page (google) to the stupid IE & Get It Now page.

I recently upgraded to IE 7 and have since discovered a blue rectangle on my desktop. I can move the rectangle, but it doesn't appear to do anything. If I move it over an existing icon it covers it and cannot be placed in the trash. When I click on the IE 7 icon the box changes ...

I just purchased a Lenovo X61 Tablet with XP and Office 2007, included in the installation was IE 7. For a number of reasons I'd like to use IE 6 rather than 7. Is there a way to do this without causing problems with Office 2007?
