How do I turn the auto-completion in Internet Explorer 7 off?  Anything I go
to, when I start to type it brings up everything else that I've typed and I
hate it.

This refers to added program icons not the installed windows icons,
This worked fine until a Windows reinstall last week and now following these
instructions no longer am I able to change icons.I think its possible the
result of an  Windows update to IE.

When I open Internet Explorer, I always get un-wanted pop-ups.  This did not
happen before.  I use Firefox most of the time and I do not get pop-ups.  My
pop-up blocker is on.

I know how to add the search engine Google in the case just right to the
adress case, without installing the google toolbar. I would like to know if
we can add the search engine "I'm feeling lucky" of Google at this same place

Until a few weeks ago I had no problem vieing CNN's videos on IE7, below is
a link example.  But using FireFox I can view the same links, so it's
something with IE7 (WinXP).
The error icon on the bottom right says

I am receiving a 403 Forbidden error when I try to visit ANY web page using
IE7 on Vista. Firefox works fine.
Does anyone have ideas on what to look for? I've tried resetting all IE
settings under Internet Options, but this has no effect.

I can't seem to see the Favorites drop down menu from the Menu Bar.  All I
see is a silhouette of the drop down box, but nothing else.  I can see all

When I try to download anything from Microsoft , Internet Explorer download
always times out unless I constantly browse. All other downloads work
perfectly. Vista is up to date I'm using IE7. Please help I dont want to have
to use any third party download programs.

When i am waiting for a page that takes a while to load, either because the

I have installed IE7 in WXPP but my favorites are stored on H:\WD Sync
Data\ASUS\Temp\SB\Favorites. I do not know why. I need to use my original
favorites that are stored on C:\Documents and
Settings\Administrator\favorites but IE7 does not see them. If I remove H:
