Whenever I close an application from my desktop or start menu I get the IE has stopped working message. I have tried with the wireless of but it still happens! any suggestions?

My friend, in another state, uses a Dell installed Windows Xp, SP #2, Media Center Vision (I use Windows Me). I’m trying to help him with a problem. He cannot access Internet Explorer. A message says “Internet Explorer cannot display this Web page.”

ever since i download the new internt exporer 7 . key in something and it doesn't happen. i somtimes have to hit the same key 3 or 4 times for it to show up .. how can i fix this .. it has happened both on my Desktop and my laptop

Whenever I open IE7, it always goes to the customize your settings page. This page doesn't even load. I have my home page set as Yahoo, but it always goes to http://runonce.msn.com/runonce2.aspx. How can I fix this? Thanks
