How can I download IE7 without installing on the machine?
In the old days, IE6 used to use a switch ie6setup.exe /c:"ie6wzd.exe /d
/s:""#E" to download from the internet but don't want to install it right
away.

I too have the same problem. I get kicked out of the internet all the time. I
try to respond to classmates in my online classes and I get the message the
internet has encountered a problem and needs to close. I have sent several
error messages to no avail. Can anyone help?

I installed IE7 on a Windows Server 2003 SP2 (Small Business Server).  
Install went normally, it asked me to reboot at the end.  I rebooted.  
Windows came up normally.  I entered my logon credentials, and it has been

I have recently had problems with IE6 just locking up while using it. To try
and eradicate the problem I have downloaded and installed IE7 but am

Does anyone know the switches to use for iexplore.exe so it starts without
any add-ons, similar to right clicking the desktop icon and running withoout
add-ons?

I have about 40 icons on my desktop (Vista).  I've unchecked
autoarrange, checked align to grid... but often when I fire up the
