I'm using Windows XP and IE 7 and when I attempt to close a tab or if I have
a pop up page on top of the page I'm working on, if I close the page on top
by using the "x" at the top right or left clicking the "e" at the top left or
even by hitting the "ok" or "accept" at the ...

I have XP, IE7, plenty of RAM etc, everything been working fine for ages.
I installed a new graphics card to support 2 monitors (which doesn't work -
but that's another story - everything else seems fine).  Got the card brand
new from DEll, so it's not a dodgy card or anything.

My friend's computer has Windows XP and IE7 and when you go to ANY website,
the background will not load!!!!  The background is always white/blank.  How

Can you confirm that?
I guess the alt+escape combination is supposed to switch between
applications. But  if you press ctrl alt and escape IE7 hangs.
