I'm using Windows XP and IE 7 and when I attempt to close a tab or if I have
a pop up page on top of the page I'm working on, if I close the page on top
by using the "x" at the top right or left clicking the "e" at the top left or
even by hitting the "ok" or "accept" at the ...
Tabbed browsing not working22 Mar 2008 13:56 GMT6
I have XP, IE7, plenty of RAM etc, everything been working fine for ages.
I installed a new graphics card to support 2 monitors (which doesn't work -
but that's another story - everything else seems fine).  Got the card brand
new from DEll, so it's not a dodgy card or anything.

Since I installed IE7 I have a problem with browsing on the internet. When

Inline image problem22 Mar 2008 04:02 GMT5
The browser included in Vista won't display .tif images inline (img
src="xxxx.tif") and just displays a broken image icon instead.
This was a problem WAY back in Internet Explorer 6 when SP1 was installed
and a hotfix was generated (824220) presumable because Microsoft realized it ...
UPdating from 6 to 7 on XP SP222 Mar 2008 02:28 GMT8
Finally decided to go ahead with this.  If so, will my list of favorites,
security settings, etc. be incorporated into the new version?
I am most concerned about losing a list (far too long) of favorites, in the
upgrade.  Do I need to export the list from 6 and then import to 7?  ...

ctrl + alt + escape leads to a crash on vista with ie721 Mar 2008 22:52 GMT1
Can you confirm that?
I guess the alt+escape combination is supposed to switch between
applications. But  if you press ctrl alt and escape IE7 hangs.
Thanks

Some pages are smaller than others21 Mar 2008 21:28 GMT2
Since I bought my new computer with Vista and IE7, now some (not all) web
pages load smaller than they used to. To be clear, the pages are completely
smaller, font, pictures, margins, etc. Other pages are fine. It almost seems
as though they have been zoom adjusted, when I have ...
