Having done as Robear Dyer suggests many times and even disabled Windows firewall as well as shut down my Kaspersky V7. I still get "Web page can not be displayed" and if I run the Repair tool, I get "Problem with Winsock provider catalogue".

Has anyone experienced a problem where the Menu Bar option is checked on the Tools menu but there is no Menu Bar and the option cannot be unchecked? If so, how did you fix it?

I'm running Vista Home Premium on one year old Acer desktop and in IE7 I see multiple entries for Add Ons. Will this cause any sort of an issue with performance? My system is a bit slow. The repeated Add-Ons are: SharepointOpenDocuments, OSE.Discussion and WebDiscussions.

I got hit by an ActiveX Related Trojan that reconfigured IE7 to go to the Trojan's site. So I decided to do a fresh install of IE. I go to Add & Remove programs. Uninstall IE7 . It installs but IE6 has all toolbars I had on IE7. Not having this issue when I was running

I'm trying to get raw HTTP Error messages in IE7. I already shut off "show friendly error messages" in advanced settings. Oddly, I did manage to get one raw message, but then it went back to the dumbed down version.

Is it possible to set up "groups" of Tabs? That is - "Business Group", "Travel group", "Investment Group"? I would like to have multiple tabs within each of these "groups" (so as to not have to open so many tabs at once). Can this be done? Thanks for the help.
