I've been plagued by IE7 using up my computer's memory and stopping anything
else from running until I close down a tab or two.  I do a lot of research
and sometimes have 20+ tabs active at a time.
I have an XP Pro SP2 Dell Dimension 8400.  It had 512M of RAM.  I thought

I installed the IE8 Beta the other day. I really like it, several features
are really nice but a number of sites I frequent do not display properly or
IE8 hangs and the recovery just goes round and round. So, I decided to roll
back to IE7 and wait for IE8 to stabilize a bit.

OS is WinXP Sp2(the same bug I meet in Sp3 RC2), physical memory 1024M,
Display memory 128M, P4 2.8C CPU with HT enabled, i865 chipset motherboard.
