When I click on a hyperlink in an e-mail, it opens an new IE7 window, loads the default web pages but not the one the hyperlink was pointing to. Appears not to be transfering the hyperlink URL to IE. Any ideas as to why?

I receive a message "out of memory at line: 56" when clicking on certain links in IE7. This was also happening in IE6, but upgrading to 7 hasn't cured it. I am running with XP sp2 and IE7 with all of the latest updates.
