I am trying to delete addresses in the dropdown URL line. I haven't found how to delete them. I am also finding addresses in the dropdown from blogs that I have visited but not typed in.

It is so strange that suddenly my IE 7 cannot be connected starting from today...it said there is a connection problem. I can't connect with firefox either but apple safari is fine. By the way, i didn't switch off my desktop for many days and the connection problem only ...

How do you get the MSN Desktop search on IE? (like google desktop?) O'Reilly said it was better than Google, so I downloaded the MSN tool bar, which simply takes up space and repeats the same "Live Search" (web) that is located at the upper right of the browser window.

I installed some MS patches today IE7/Vista, including KB943899. After rebooting, I could no longer save-as pictures in IE from any website. I would get the popup "Access Is Denied". Uninstalling KB943899 and rebooting immediately fixed the problem.

I formatted my PC and exported the IE7 bookmark.htm file. In the formatted system, the new IE7 installation does not recognize the file as a valid one ("not a valid bookmark file" message). The Operating system is the same as before (XP SP2).

Often, when I am prompted to enter a login/password for a website, I get the warning: "If you are seeing this page, your browser settings prevent you from automatically redirecting to a new URL. "

Off and on I'm having trouble getting sites saved to my Favorites. It will work fine one day and then not the next. When it doesn't work it comes up with a Windows Internet Explorer box saying "Unable to create. Unspecified error"

When I used to type in the address of a site id been to or the first few letters of a favorite, the address bar would bring up a drop down menu with all websites or favorites starting with the characters I had begun typing. now there is no drop down when i start typing www.cnn ...

Perhaps some of you have already discovered that unlike other news sites Fox News (FNC) videos can be problematic. Many have complained that they cannot view any videos at http://www.foxnews.com/video/index.html

Here's the scenario: you download the latest and greatest version of the Adobe Flash Player. After it finishes installing, you go to a site featuring Flash content and are greeted with a message notifying you that you need to install Flash Player, but didn't I just do that?

I have a new laptop and after yesterday's automatic Vista update, I have not been able to retrieve mail in IE7. Clicking on Mail results in message IE has to close down and reopen. I have had to install Firefox which works fine.
