Using IE7 on XP Pro and having just downloaded MS updates I find that IE7 is not now working! When opening it does not load my home page (Google) or any other web pages! Tried all the "resetting methods" from MS site but to no avail.

The MS Service 3 has been updating my computer and each time it prevents me from getting online. To get online I have to Restore my computer to an earlier date. So far it is the only thing that works. This has been going on since Thursdays automatic MS update.

Yesterday the menus bar disappeared from IE7 - The command is still checked in the Tools menu but i can no longer uncheck it either to check it again What can have happenned? How can i fix this problem? Thanks for your help (i am using Vista)
