Every time I click on the X to close a window in Internet Explorer 7, I get
the error message stating that Explorer has encountered a problem and must
close. I looked at the details of the error message and it is hundreds of
lines of gibberish. Once it came up as error code 504. ...

I have been using Internet Explorer 7.0 for a while.  My have 3 websites
that open as my "homepage".  One day just out of the blue, i started getting
a Windows Internet Explorer window error: stack overflow at line: 86 on one

I have posted about this before, but not found a solution. After having
browsed for a little while I start getting tabs just saying
"connection" when I either click on a link or try to create an empty

I am posting this here since there is nowhere else suitable either. Recently
lightning has burned out my computer through a telephone broadband
connection to the computer. Is there something available to prevent another
such damage, as there is for electrical supply?

I run IE7 on XP and experience difficulties navigating between websites?
IE7 fires up ok and the initial 'window' works fine. However, if I try to
open a second 'window' (would normally come up blank) within the same IE7
session, the whole session locks up with 'Not responding'.

How do you remove annoying programs which self install and continue to nag

updates and use Nortons Systemworks plus Zone Alarm and yet I have a

being able to close the window.  is this a vista problem?  and is it fixable?
