When I post questions in a MS Newsgrup I check the "Notify me of replies" box.
When I receive an email indicating a reply is posted I click on the link...
but most of the time no content is displayed.
I'm running Norton Internet Security.

Looks like the new house I've chosen does not have DSL or any toll-free dial
up ISPs.  Anyone know about the reliability of Hughes Net?  I use IE6 and
Outlook Express and an happy with that and don't really want to change.

When I Double Click on Protected Mode OFF and set the properties to turn it
on.  It stays on until I close IE.  The next time I open IE it says that
Protected Mode is OFF.
Will there ever be a fix for this?

Very often when I try to print a picture from a Website, When using I.R., The
picture will not print, but rather in prints dozens of pages of  Code.
The code starts with "<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "
There are some pictures that will print from the Internet using I.E. I

I have been getting this message for every other web page I try to open since
last Thursday, BEFORE downloading SP1. I thought maybe SP1 would help, but no
change. I am also getting "page done iwth errors" and slow load times along
with "yahoo! mail experienced a login error" ...

I have IE7 both at home and at work.  If I put a Word doc in the Favorites
folder at work and click it, a separate Word window opens and IE is not
affected.

I will have to type in my birthday every time and it's annoying. It could be

Since installing IE 7 I am unable to get my HP Director to open. Any
suggestions on hoow to open it or repair the problem?

Graphics are all messed up in IE8... If i load ANY website including yours,
images are all distorted at 100% zoom.
100% is just that... 100% of what the website was designed to be displayed
at. fix that crap.

I have both Internet Explorer and Firefox on my PC.  How do I make one
or the other my primary browser (the one that opens uo when a browser
is called for)?  I like Firefox - but it opens too slow. IE6 is good
enough for me.

have a problem after downgrading explorer 7 to6 it fails to open any web pages
internet connection is working fine, and have checked the lan setting they
are the same as other pcs on the network which work fine, have also checked
its not set to work offline

i keep having the same problem.  IE 7 keeps going to the download page and
now i can't set my own homepage.  i am not a dummy about how to set a home
page , but IE7 won't let me.  please fix it.
