I have to get my rant out of the way.  I just can't get over how
crappy IE7 is, no undo close tab, no session save,  no load history
into tabs and now I can't even connect to hotmail.   Why do the new
versions of MS software provide crap (bells and whistles) no one asks

I just finished upgrading my laptop to Office 2007 Ultimate and IE 7.  Now
when I try to open IE7 it flashes up on the screen and then disappears.

I'm trying to download the Exchange Eval installer from the microsoft
site. It's 687 MB in size but I when attempt top download it it only
gets to about 100 MB and then the progress bars of the dowload window

After having installed IE7, I want to install additional programs. But when I

I am using WINDOWS VISTA HOME PREMIUM with INTERNET EXPLORER 7.  When I try
to open any web page it says connecting and website found waiting for reply.  
Eventually it changes to web page cannot be displayed.  I have tried
different internet connections and always the same result ...

I think that this is an IE7 issue rather than a McAfee issue; but I'm not
sure. So, apologies if I erroneously posted this in the wrong place. I have
installed McAfee SiteAdvisor on my XP2 machine at work. It works fine on
Firefox 2. It seems to prevent IE7 from deleting browser ...

Although when downloading software I indicated that I did not want an
additional toolbar in IE7 OS Vista Business, I still got it. How do I remove

I checked the group for this problem but didn't find a thread for it, but if
it has been dealt with (and it probably has ..), then I'm sorry but I
haven't found it.
I'm running IE7/ Windows XP Home Edition/ all Microsoft updates in place.

I currently have a desktop at home set up with three users for the family.  
The issue I’m having is that I’m able to open internet explorer on one of the
profiles and not the other two.  This problem started about 10 days ago and
it happened overnight.
