When i open internet explorer the application looses focus imediately

I know this was brought up during Beta testing.  If I open IE7 and then open
several tabs, and the close the tabs, IE7 won't let go of the RAM used for
those tabs.  In order to get my memory back I must close IE7.

Sometimes IE7 crashes, while using tabs. Not many tabs just 3 - 4. And I get

I'm running IE7 with Windows XP.
I was away for a week 3/28/08 to 4/4/08 and left my system on since I
