Somehow a divider bar has appeared midway down my favorites dropdown. If I

It's always something. I tried IE 7 a while back and didn't like it, but
after using Firefox and getting used to tab browsing I gave it another try.
So it's good. After I solved a few problems I'm happy with IE 7, except for
one annoyance.

Where does IE store the information about what Add on are installed, is it in
the registry?

I was kind of forced to install MS Live Mail and abandon OE. So far so
good. Only I already miss one feature: in OE I could use my Outllok
contacts (there was an "unsupported" registry fix that has worked ok
for years).
