I'm trying out Windows 2008 and so far it seems to run much faster than Vista SP1. I seem to be able to run almost everything I can with Windows XP but I can't figure out how to add my custom icons back to the toolbar in IE7.

For years I have used a financial services website to monitor my investment portfolio (www.moneyextra.com ) For years with Windows XP/IE6 and later with XP/IE7 everything worked (and still works) perfectly.

I have a PC running XP MCE 2005. I recently ran Windows Updates on it and installed close to 70 updates including the upgrade to IE7. Now, after the upgrade, IE7 doesn't start. It flashes on the screen for a split second and then closes. I don't see anything in the Event Logs ...

I think many web developer nowadays test its final product against Firefox, IE6, IE7, and sometimes Safari. But that's a big problem if we have IE7 and need to run IE6 inside of a virtual machine using VMWare or Virtual PC... since they take up a lot of memory.
