I am running 2008 Server and need to change the IE7 internet zone security
level from high to medium high.
I am well aware of the security benefits of the High setting, and the risks
of lowering it.

I used to like FavIcons but now with thousands of saved favourites I've
changed my tune. Can I disable IE from saving them to disk? Showing in
browser is OK, just not saving.

I have a simple webpage. When I print the content to the file under Windows
XP from IE7
some letters are missing (for example text CCO).
Does anybody know why some elements are missing?

I went to tools and selected full screen which took away all toolbars so
that I no longer see tools favorites back, forward, etc. I can't even close
the program. How do I return IE to normal screen? Thanks.

him identify each easily.  We recently installed a new computer and
transferred the shortcuts.  BUT the graphics are missing, ...

Since a while I've been using the IE pro plugin and I really like it
because it offers a spell checker. However, I have one issue with it.
Whenever I close IE and open it again later on, IE comes up with a
kind of crash recovery page, even though IE was closed down properly

Is there a way to set up IE7 to clear the internet search history
automatically when exiting Internet Explorer?

I installed the Vista SP1 because I had an issue w/ Windows Mail, could not
delete old mail. Afterwards, the mail worked great, but all my other account
users could not use the installed IE 7.0 properly. Any page which involved a

My company just went over to using HTTPF for our e-mail but everytime I put
it in IE changes it back to HTTP, how can I stop this from happening?

I am handicapped and need the back-forward buttons on the right side of the
screen. I could move them in version 6 - how do I do it now?

when i try and download a file from my desktop i get shown a can't
connect page. When i try the same file download on my laptop, there's
no problem. I've tried emptying the ie cache and cookies but still
back to the same page, and yes the pc is connected and other windows

I am trying to add additional search providers ie Google and Yahoo and have
followed the directions...

2) Click the arrow to the right of the Search Options button .

Okay..my internet explorer won't always connect. It says there's a problem
with my TCP port 80..that its behind a firewall or something. I know very
little about computers..and dont want to take it to get it fixed because i'm
sure its probably a simple fix..but port 80 is allowed ...
