I have IE7 and use MSNBC as  a homepage. I've tried to modify which and how
many columns or boxes I see (e.g., sports 5, local news 10, etc) but when I
bring up IE again, all the old settings are there.  Even though I live in
Illinois, I keep getting NY weather!

IE7 is still a good browser with enough memory.  I have two computers.

I have found nothing on line in regards to this.

Using Vista Home premium with User Account Control on some features of IE7 do
not work.  1 "add to favorites", 2 "recent pages" drop down menu, 3 Some
links to open new pages don't work.  All these work OK if I turn off UAC.

Opening links in Flash files has now become impossible.
Firefox will open these links
Safari will open these links
IE 7 will not..

When I hover over the folders I have set up to organize my favorites it
displays the date of creating that folder. I was wondering if there was a way
to remove the creation date because it gets in the way and it gets annoying.

All Microsoft support and contact pages are not displayed on my system. I am
using Windows XP 64 bit. All other pages / sites are displayed properly. I

When IE7 freezes on a site (mostly Facebook) is it possible to only close
that tab instead IE7 completely??  So sick of Facbook freezing and then going

After completing the auto updates on 9th  and 13th April the tabs facilty
appears to be not working  the tab will appear the be a copy of the previous
tab but will just hang. It wont close and a reboot is necessary and cant use
links to open up pages as they open up a new tab
