When I shut down IE7 it will often take about 5 minutes to close during which
time there is major disk activity.  On other occasions it will close
immediately but will leave an iexplore.exe listed in processes.  Can anyone
explain this and suggest a resolution please?

I am using IE7 on Windows XP Home SP2.  When I open favorites it reads from
C:\Windows      instead of   C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Favorites.  
How do I correct this without damaging the Windows folder.

In Intranet, when a link is clicked, it open around 50 windows and does not
allow to login and generate error message as "The webpage you are viewing is
trying to close the window"  .
But when I copy the same link and paste in browser directly, it works fine.

can I uninstall ie7 and reinstall ie6, since installing '7' I am getting
sites telling me my cookies are not working ??? hence cannot connect to the
site, not a terrifically good webworker, so would appreciate help with this
