I recently downloaded IE7, but I can't get the microsoft pop-up page to go
away. I want to get rid of it and go back to my regular homepage when I start
IE. I double checked my IE properties, and my homepage is listed properly.
How do I make the microsoft page go away?

With a brand spankin new computer I decided to use "Windows XP Professional
x64 Edition" as my OS w/ my AMD64 system, excited to test out the diffrences
and still remaning true to XP (until Vista has a SP2), seems I got more than
I bargained for in the headache department.

I installed a 3rd party software for music downloads and it changed a setting
on Internet Explorer.
Now when I mistype a web page address, intead of the Windows Live search
page I get an Earthlink search page.

I cannot get IE7 to save my username and passwords for the web pages that I
visit.  I have looked at all of the postings giving suggestions but they do
not work.  I have gone into Tools, Internet options, Content, AutoComplete,
Settings and checked all boxes including User names ...

I am running Win XP and have been having on going problems with IE7.
The problem is that it has freeze ups and if the freeze is real bad the PC
locks up and then I have to hit the reset, I've tried reloads and everything
else nothing works so have gone back to IE6
