I'm very new to IE7.
Recently I opened a URL - or tried to -- and the little animated icon on the
tab just kept spinning and spinning.
The page looked to me like it was loaded.

I have Ie7 TABS Closing randomly and frequently and it drives me nuts, in
addtion to being very difficlutl to work with.
I have tried to open MANY tabs, in hopes that ONE would anchor Ie7 in the
open position and I could finish a task, like an on line web site layout or

I have a lot of favourites, so I file them in folders and then in subfolders.
When I go to save a new favourite, all of the folders are expanded making it
very hard to pick the right one as it is such a jumble. It's like opening
your whole filing cabinet at once. Is there any way ...

Some sites with streaming videos let you watch the videos live as well as
downloading it and watch it on your PC. Some only have video streaming, but
no download link. Is there anyway to go around it? i.e. somehow download the
video stream on my PC even if the download link ...

i've installed IE7 but the right click menu stayed like the old one..
if i right click hyperlink i should have the option to open it in a new tab
but it only let me to open in a new window

When I click an icon on desktop to open a web site, it displays  on 1/2
screen, and I have to enlarge it (buuton at top right). How can I set the
default to open full screen (as it used to...)?

there was an auto update two days ago and since then my ie7/XP will no longer
allow me to access https: sites. It says the standard connection problem. I
have read the other threads here and have flushed my DNS, reset modems, used
no add ins but the problem still remains.

This problem has been driving me crazy and searches on google (er, Microsoft
Live) don't come up with any answers:
When I click on a link in a webpage to a media file (WMV for example),  
Internet Explorer responds with a "Internet Explorer cannot display the

IE 7 stopped opening, so I downloaded, using Foxfire, another copy of IE7 and
installed it. Now it opens with the following error message:

...I'm a recruiter and am on multiple sites and it seems each has their own
HTML editor. Anyway, doesn't matter if I'm on one of these sites or in a
webmail email account, when I start composing the email, it seems as if there
is a problem after I type about 100 words or so.

I cant open microsoft websites on one of my computers. On the same network
with another computer it opens them fine. I am running ie 7 and xp on the
computer that cant open the sites. Please help.

On one machine out of a hundred, after installing IE7 it won't run, when I
click on the IE icon it simply creates a shortcut on the desktop.
Any ideas?

When trying to save a web page in IE7 this feature will only work
intermittently, I can start off saving pages for awhile but before long when
the Save Webpage window opens IE7 will freeze up and I then have to use the
Task Manager to shut it down and then re-open it to continue ...
