I am wirelessly connected to the internet but internet explorer will
not open a home page or in fact any page.

My home page is on the local drive and has all my favorites on it.  When I
click on a link, it always opens a new window, unnecessarily.
Is there an option to make a new page open in the current tab, current
window ,unless specifically requested?

Any website with Flash on brings up this message on the Information Bar:
"Internet Explorer has blocked this site from using an ActiveX control in an

We use ISA Server in web proxy mode and we have MSIE 7 configured to use the
ISA Server interface as the proxy.   All works fine 98% of the time.   But
suddenly MSIE 7 will on occasion simply stop using the proxy and start
sending out requests directly to the target web server.   ...

I have accessed this site successfully in the past.
Starting today (June 7) my attempts to reach this site are being redirected

In my LAN theire is one proxyserver witch must be used for visiting one
special external site. All other external sites must NOT us this proxy.
Is their a way configuring i.e. so that the proxy is used only when using
the adress for that special site ?

How can I find out if an Email address is still active, without that person
knowing I was checking?
