After downloading update KB932823 v3 ,explorer windows won"t close,so I
unistalled,I then installed sp3 and the same thing happened,any clues as to

Hi ! Although i'm in the french-speaking part of Switzerland, i'd like to
have IE7 in ENGLISH ! I just downloaded it on an english-speaking site of
Mcrosoft, and IT IS the english version, but when i install it, reboot my
computer, it comes on screen in FRENCH !!!

if I click a link that opens a new window, it should open a new tab,  but it

Every time I click on the new tab in IE7, the program freeze up.  I am
getting "No Respond" message.

Evrey time I open up a new IE window the Privacy Setting for cookies (a level
you can set on what cookies to accept) resets itself to the accept
everything, even the bad stuff level. I watch my cookie folder fill up with
adware everytime I open a new browser.

I've tried to delete files in the Temp Internet Files folder using the
Tools/Internet Options/Browsing History/Delete.. but nothing happens and when
I check inside the folder itself, the files are still there. They do delete

I get this message, "You must enable ActiveX controls in order to browse
Discussion Groups". Where do I enable ActiveX? I have looked in IE tools and
Add-ons but I cannot seem to find the correct place.

I cannot open mht file in IE7 in Vista SP1 and Windows XP SP3 when there is

IE7 has suddenly taken to opening

This is obviously not set as my homepage and I am already using IE7

I have IE 6.0 on XP and have an administrator account and one restricted
familly account. Caught my niece on computer late at night and she had
cleared her history, but not cookies, which indicated nothing serious. Can I
restrict clearing history? Will upgrading to IE 7.0 help?  ...

How do I uninstall IE8 Beta on XP Home Edition since it does not
appear in the Add/Remove Programs list ?

I noticed this problem on SOME web sites. for instance on the Firefox web
site, there is a big purple button that says "download Firefox 2 free" Other
Web sites are not affected.
