Evrey time I open up a new IE window the Privacy Setting for cookies (a level
you can set on what cookies to accept) resets itself to the accept
everything, even the bad stuff level. I watch my cookie folder fill up with
adware everytime I open a new browser.

This problem probably has been address numerous times.  I'm running XP with
SP2.
My IE 7 desktop icon has gone missing.  I have tried numerous things to
retrieve it including:

ofen,when some tabs are open in ie,when i try to close one of them, the ie
program no response, so i must close the whole ie.
also sometimes,when tabs in ie is so many,it can not open other tab .

Any help on this would be great.  I have the opposite problem.  A computer's
history was cleared and I'm not so much interested in what was cleared but
when.

I just bought two pcs, both with Vista and IE7. On both PCs whenever I exit
IE, and then go back in, the address bar drop down list (typed URLs) is
always emptly.
Can anyone help me please.

Well Viktor, I finally got up the courage to try the Quero toolbar and I've
got to say, I'm impressed - at least so far.
As advertised, the Quero toolbar brings back many of the good features of
IE6, e.g. the ability to move and/or resize the address bar and to move most

IE7 home page has been changed to a Symantec page and I cannot change it back
to my ISP home page. I have tried restoring to a known time period but that
does not help. I have tried running NAV2008 again but it does not find any
problems. Anybody have any ideas?

I have found IE 7 to be unstable, often crashing without warning or
explanation when having trouble loading a page or when new e mail is arriving
to a Yahoo mailbox which is open in the browser, etc.
The only advice I've found in this forum has advocated blaming add-ons, but

I'm running Windows XP Home and IE 7, using AT&T's DSL. Whenever I start IE
7, it always comes up in "work offline". I uncheck "work offline" in the
Tools Menu, and when I restart IE 7, it takes me to the Internet OK. How do I
