In my left pan it indicates (in blue) that I supposed to have
currently...8167 unread messages in THIS newsgroup.
But when I check under Properties, it says:
"This newsgroup contains 164 messages" (!), and it's true

Where do I get javascript? It isn't in the "advanced" section of my IE
options where it should be anymore.  Is there a way to find it again, or
repair/re-install IE?

IE menu bar, address bar, tool bar, etc. act like the taskbar when it is configured to
Auto Hide.  I have to move the mouse pointer to the top of the screen before those
items appear.  Where is this configured?
