Until beginning of this week my proxyserver-password had a checkbox "remember password". Now this is gone. Can anyone help me out. I checked all settings but could not really find something. I also tried performing a system restore. Without successss.

The last three or four times I start my computer and go to the internet all my recent addresses from the drop down bar are gone. I usually have ten or so addresses located in the drop down bar. Any help appreciated.

Does anyone know how to get rid of the search box? I tried the tweak on http://www.enhanceie.com/ie/tweaks.asp, but it didn't work. I brought my computer in to have some work done and they must have reinstalled IE 7 because my toolbars have all reverted back to the way they were ...

In Article ID 208427 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/208427) it is specified that the max URL length is 2,083 characters. However I found that if you are using IE to connect to a FTP site, the maximum URL seems to be 127 characters.

When I receive an email that has graphics/photos/images in the body of the email all I get is a grey box where the graphics/photos/image should appear - there is no error message, it is not being blocked which would be indicated by a red x, until getting a new computer with vista ...

I get a daily email with a hyperlink to a website with an encrypted pdf file - it's a daily industry newsletter. When the link is selected in the email, IE7 tries to open the file - I don't want it opened, I want it saved. If either FF or Opera is set as the default
