I have read some posts here about my problem but not sure if it really
applies to my problem.
My situation:
We have Windows XP SP2 English installed with MUI pack German.

Whe I open a new window in IE, do some work, then close this window,
then IE crashes.
Any idea what the problem might be, and how to cure it.

How do I disable the IE "feature" that redirects me to a search page whenever
a web address fails to load?  It is mainly caused by banner ads on web pages
that don't work.

Recently purchased new computer, includes Vista Home Premium and Internet
Explorer 7. There seems to be an issue with Explorer where it will take off

Am everytime I open a new page, a message comes up stating that "operation

I recently had to change the dpi setting of my laptop screen (1920x1200)
from 120 dpi to 96 dpi (due to a program that requires "normal" dpi

I can't bookmark pages if all my favorites are expanded... too hard to narrow
down which category I want with everything expanded... it totally defeats the
purpose of a folder system if they are not collapsible.  
I won't be using IE until Microsoft changes it back.

and other email accounts.  Now I have both Outlook Express and Live mail in

i recently updated my internet explorer from IE 6.0 to IE 7.0 using the
automatic updates. But since then i have been facing continous problems with
the browser. It often hangs or closes for some reason. And this makes my work
very uncomfortable. How can i revert back to IE 6.0?
