I have just discovered that I am having a great deal of difficulty seeing recent posts on LJ using IE. I can see them just fine using Mozilla Firefox. Any thoughts?

So far i'm liking the new IE8. There is only 1 issue I have but it's only personal preference. In IE7, I was able to place the Links button anywhere on the toolbar, even right next to my installed toolbars. But with IE8, I can only move the Favorites Bar to the left of the ...

is it possible to tell IE 7 to set the focus (cursor) in the search field after startup? When starting up the focus is always in the adress field (URL) but I never start with an URL always with a search. Thanks

I got this computer for Christmas, and immeadiately downloaded Firefox. About a week ago, Firefox just wouldn't open, but IE would. So I uninstalled FF, and tried to re-install. Everytime I try, the error window pops up and the browser shuts down and re-opens to the homepage. I ...

i just recently got IE 7 and am not pleased with the address bar that appears in all windows that pop up. it interfers with games and i am not able to chat. is there a way to get rid of this bar?

I was on Facebook with IE8 and went to the Notifications "AJX popup" and none of the links inside of that AJAX box get the hand cursos when over them. And none of the controls inside of it work. THis worked fine on IE7.

Went to the Control Panel and add/remove and removed IE8. It still appears on the control panel and displays my Home Page when activated but no IE menus. Old Bob

Every time I open IE, I get a message from Norton which say I have to fix Windows firewall. I fix it and it runs fine, but as I say, I get a fix it mesage each time I open IE.

I was quite excited to see the arrival of IE8 and downloaded the beta 2 version, Having used it for only a couple of hours and had so many crashed , I've had to uninstall. I appreciate it's a beta but its just not usable currently

I attempted to download IE7 about a year ago, and it locked up my computer to the point I had to call the Geek Squad to come out and fix my computer. Now I am afraid it will do the same thing if I try to download it again. Do you understand why it would do this?
