I've installed a new copy of an original Windows XP (with) SP2 CD on my hard disk. Neither without nor with SP3 installed it is possible to install IE7 or IE8 from full setup file or Windows Updates.

This would have been a great addition to IE7. Since tabs effectively replaced windows-and-taskbar icons, they need the same level of functionality. The only way to return to the tab you were previously viewing is to close

Why is it I have a HP computer built for MICROSOFT products running a MICROSOFT OS (XP), MICROSOFT Internet Explorer and MICROSOFT Office and BARELY ANY OF THE CRAP FRIGGIN WORKS! Why is it I have to open Firefox or Chrome to get some java apps to work

I've set a single home page (other than MS) in Internet Options. But each time IE starts up, it goes to http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=74005 rather than the home page I dictated. Once IE is up, I click on the home icon and it then will go to the homepage I set.
