Whenever I start OE to look at ngs I get the above mentioned message box.
It asks if I would like to make OE the default newsreader, I click yes and
go on.  The next time I start OE however the same box pops up.  I go to the
Internet Properties settings page and under the programs ...

Outlook Express won't send email. Says "The connection to
server has failed... error number 0x800CCCOE" I have
talked to Dell technology twice. After checking all
protocol, etc. said to download a New Outlook express.

I want to know where the pictures,mails,files,... that we see in OE are
saved in our computer ? do we have any access to them?

Hi, I have over 2000 email addresses in my address book and I can't add any
more, it says 'out of memory of system resources'!!
What oh what can I do?

If I want to send a web page while on it, I click the
envelope icon on Internet Explorer browser & Outlook
opens in a [large] window, fine I send my email. But if
you click the envelope icon a 2nd time Outlook opens in a

Lately my computer has been locking up.  I will type
something in yahoo search and It takes me to a weird
page. I have dial up.  Last week I checked for viruses

Frank Saunders, thank you for your reply. I use McAfee and
I disabled the email scan but no change. It is as if OE is
just not working, I have re-installed it and deleted and

I get error message that OE address book isn't working
and I need to reinstall OE.  I went to ms download site
and it won't allow me to download the SP6 stating I have

I am running Win '98 with OE 6.0 SP1 installed.  I have
gone to the Accounts>Properties>Server screen and keyed
in the e-mail ID and password.  I have indicated that

Whenever NAV detects an email with an infected attachment

Went to Tools options in OE, set as default but when I go back to it does
not do so tried Internet Options etc Internet Programs and the only email
that comes up is Outlook and there is no Outlook Express option and I do not
know how to add it there as cant type it in.

On some emails - instead of the picture, all I get is the
little red "x". When I right click, it doesn't give me the
option to open it. I have Norton Internet Security and
wonder if that could have anthing to do with it.

Is it possible to make Outlook Express not popup the new mail
notification icon in the systray when I receive mails with curtain
words (i.e spam mail)? I have tried to add message rules incoming

I am getting a DATIME.DLL error message when I am trying
to access my work email using Outlook Web Access (OWA)
using Internet Explorer.  Here is the message:

MY address book isn't working in OE. States it needs to
be reinstalled.  Cannot reinstall from MS downloads;
states newer version installed so cannot update?
