I was using Windows 98 and OE6. When I upgraded to Windows XP, my messages disappeared. Can anyone tell me how to recover them?

I can sent e-mail from Outlook & Outlook EX, if I write my mail and then log on to the Internet. However, I always get a 'Sorry must close..." message when I try to retreive mail in these two programs. Thanks for any help.

I added an email adress to my blocked senders list yesterday and today I got an email from the same person that went unfiltered to my inbox. I took a quick look to my blocked senders list and it was empty ! There were hundreds of spammer email adresses in there a couple of days ago.
