This is my first post on this site so please bear with me
if I do the wrong thing.
I have up graded to Internet Explorer 6 recently and as a
result inherited Outlook Express 6 also.

Suddenly, any emails I print look as if the whole image area has shifted up
about .25" & to the left .5", causing the image to be cut off on the left
hand side of the paper. I've got several computer/printer set ups that are
identical (Win98SE, HP Deskjet 842C) & can print from ...

My OE won't open at all. Everytime I try to open it, it
says it can't find msimn.exe. Is there a way I can fix
this? Thank you.

Is there anyway I can automate the process of creating email accounts on
Outlook Express?
It would save me a lot of time and bother!
I know that ISP's have simple automated software that sets up internet

How do I set up a message rule to block or remove email message containing
attachments with specific extensions, such as .vbs, .bat, .pif?
This was recommended to help protect against worms and Trojans, but I can't
seem to figure out how to specify file extensions.

Can't send links or web pages in Outlook Express 6. The
email program just sits there. Can anyone help me?

I have IE 6.0 installed. When I get e-mail attachment as
pps file I can't open it. Error message says I don't have
the program (IE 5.0)installed to open it. However, when I
send to others who have 6.0 they can open it! Any

Other than backup the whole program onto a CD.  Is there alternative to
backup outlook express, e.g., just backup files pertaining to inbox,
folders, or address books.
Your advice is much appreciated.

Hello. I recently had a friend build me a new computer because the
motherboard on my old one burnt out and I needed to upgrade. I took the hard
drive from my old computer and installed it as a 2nd hard drive in my new
computer so I could access old files.

Most of my neighbor's email is being placed in the deleted
items folder.  At first, I thought he had some message
rule.  But, no message rules are checked.  
Now, he does have some blocked senders that he says are

I removed all headers from this newsgroup and now cannot see my entry to
reply to!
But thank you very much for your link to (wherever it was).  Now I can
switch between all my folders in OE instantaneously!

When I try to block sender I am told senders email address
cannot be blocked because your sender list already
contains the maximum number of entries ( 250 )

During the last several days, when I try to switch from my Inbox folder to
either Deleted or Sent folders, OE hangs.  Task manager shows "not
responding" and 100% CPU usage.  There are probably no more than 15-20
messages in either folder, since I emptied them recently.  I've tried ...
