I cannot shut down my Inspiron 1100 laptop running WinXP. This has happened since I installed Norton Anti Virus. I get over this by pressing Ctrl,Alt and Del and selecting "Users" inWindowsTask Manager, highlighting Owner and pressing Disconnect.
