I have a listview item ID of the selected email. What I do right now is
enumerate all emails in the folder, use ListView API to get the "from",
"sender" and "received" data, and compare in a loop with the OE Email Data.
Once the loop matches, I read the OE Email Data ID. All this ...

I downloaded the latest security patch for my computer
today.  After doing so, I opened up my email and got the
following error message.  "Microsoft Visual C ++ Runtime
Library  Program: C:\program
HTTP 500 Internal Server Error15 Apr 2004 18:13 GMT1
When I click on the IE icon on my desktop, I get the above
response. If you know about this please let me know how to
resolve the problem.

I have 'lost' a folder (and sub folders) of data in OutLook Express v6
I could swear I didn't delete it but that it was lost while compressing all
folders!

As I posted last week, my Son has the missing or blank email problem. At
the time I thought it may have been some malware/spyware on his PC. We

I'm trying to set up Outlook Express for my elderly mother
so that she doesn't run up expensive phone bills by
remaining connected to the Internet.
This is what I've done:

For some reason, every time I open a message in Outlook

The following procedure is offered as a fix for not getting pictures included
in E-Mail but not attached. This procedure does not work in Xp nor in Win98SE
as there is no such box the check. Any other suggestions?  Her is the

Ive discovered that my old belief that you were safe viewing the preview
pane if you had plain text turned on, is wrong.
I've read that if scripts are loaded they can run automatically even in
plain text mode.
