After re-booting my system I my Inbox disappeared! All of the other local folders are there but no Inbox os messages. Should I re-install? If I attempt to send/receive I can send but I get an error for receiveing. Any other

I saved a bunch of emails (outlook Express) and they wound up in a file that is identified as .DBX files. When I click the folder, I am asked what program I want to use to open the file. None listed will open the file.
