on the right side of the screen is a default page (for lack of the correct word) when you first open oe. it has an option to automatically go to your inbox. i was wondering if there was a way to change this so that it is blank instead.

i faced the problem of saving pwd in Outlook Express6 in winxp sp1. i set my hotmail account there. and selected saved pwd already. however, i already promote me to input the password after open OE6. who know how to solve the problem? thanks alot

Is there a way of making the progress bar come up by default when I receive or send e-mails, at the moment I have to click on the icon at the bottom right at the Status Bar, and being lazy I find this a hassle, any help out there?

My OE version 6 lately has been causing my PC to hang when I attempt to open the program, requiring a shutdown and reboot. I have Win98se with an Athlon processor. Can someone suggest some of the probable causes of these hangs when starting OE

I've just bought a new laptop, installed Windows XP on it and an 'oldish' copy of Office 2000. When using Outlook Express the spelling tab is no longer available as it was with my old Windows 98 / Office 97 configuration. Is this fixable?

I'm running Outlook Express 6 (under Windows XP) and no matter what I try, I am not able to set it to be the default mail handler. I check the box under Tools/Options to make it the default but it doesn't take. It continues to say it is not the default.

my inbox shows read messages, when I delete them theygo to my deleted items folder but a copy stays in my inbox and I cannot get rid of them, does anybody know why?

Thanks to a major screw-up (and despite all types of McAfee known to man!), I've had to reformat and reinstall my hard disc/s. All was well until last night.....now it seems that I can't save the attachments on my OE6 autoview pane.

When compressing (or the likes in English) directories in MSOE 6 I get an error for several directories "not enough space etc." Impossible, I have loads of space! What's going wrong?
