Is there any way to backup the Folders.DBX file?  Does keeping just a few weeks old copy suffice?  Would OE6 be able to use a dated copy of Folders.DBX?
My current Folders.DBX became corrupted, taking with it a rather large mail tree structure, and I'd like to find a way to avoid ...

I recently did a reinstall of xp pro on my computer due
to some problems I was experiencing. Before I did this
tho I had 2 msn email accounts setup in outlook express.
At this time I do not recall the configuration I used.

I recently designated OE as default mail box.
I have a problem if I click on an E-mail address that
is a hyper link in a web page.
I get multiple I. E. sessions opened - up to 64.

I have several email accounts set up in OE.  I am having a
problem with the correct "from address" when I reply to an
email.
It seems like OE selects any of my existing email accounts

Running OE 6, which came up and suddently couldn't find its Inbox folder.
Also, seems like file structure of the various folders has been lost.
Looked in the message store folder, and Inbox and other folders are all

When I open outlook express version 6.00.2800.1123 running
on Windows XP, I can read my messages but as soon as I
click on compose, enter the e-mail address and message
then hit SEND, the following error appears:

Is there a way to edit the Folders.DBX file?  My current  Folders.DBX  has become corrupted and I'd like to try and clean up the file, or at least extract the mail tree structure and insert it into a new Folders.DBX file?
