Okay, this is similar to the "where's my mail thread left yesterday but
slightly different.
XP home.
OE 6.

Whenever I send emails get:

When I hit "send and receive" OE seemingly attempts
to connect to the server but then comes  up with the window
"We're sorry ...OE has experienced a problem and has to Shut down"
This has happened out of the blue and I have been unable to send / receive

I am trying to help someone who cannot save or open the Excel file
attached to an email message. This person is running XP Pro. I do not
know what service packs are installed on this machine. The error
message is "OE removed access to the following unsafe attachement in

Outlook Express has begun loading VERY SLOWLY...taking 2
minutes AFTER the desktop and various task trey icons have
loaded.  It does not help even when turning off the trey
icons.

I imported an OE 6 address list into Outlook 2002.  While
the individual addresses imported ok, I am unable to get
the OE group or distribution lists I created in my OE
address book to import.  Can anyone offer any advice on

Any help would be appreciated.
Yesterday afternoon, my OE stopped functioning properly;
whether in the preview pane or when I initiated a new
window for a text message, the screen was blank.

"delivered-to" line being a valid address in my domain.
