I'm running Outlook Express 6.00.2800.1123 in Windows 2000 Pro SP4 and
I've discovered a bug I think.
Whenever I add a particular Message Rule using the wizard it crashes.
I click on the following two options in the Wizard New Mail Rule

I setup Outlooke xpress 6.0, to access my attmail. after
setingup the mail,I was able to receive my mails. but when
I try to create a new mail( when I click on the create

I have been away from home for a while and now find that

When I get an email that says to click on a certain place,
there are no links there to click on. But if I transfer
the message to Microsoft Outlook, they are all there.

It's quite confusing sometimes to distinguish who a message is from, when
the "From" column is displaying the Account name instead of the email
address of the person who sent the mail.
Is there a way to change this?

Is it possible to set up Outlook Express to automatically save draft
messages upon exit without be asked if you want to save to the drafts
folder. Thanks.

I recently had to RE-install XP (NOT a format), just a
copy over. Anyways ... I was worried because I had 100's
of messages in my "drafts" of my OE that I wanted to
retrieve. Anyways ... when I re-installed XP, I can't

I used help and support to find solution (e-mail troubleshooter) but incorrect file name is given in restore from section. File quoted is   CD:\win9x\win_11 but this file could not be found on XP disk,anyone had this problem.OE works OK but is painfully slow to load

Did a Windows update as Microsoft wanted and it goofed this up.
When I tried to connect to Outlook Express I got this message.
I had a backup file on another drive (older date) and moved it over and it
now works.

Lower right window shows messages received.Some times it
will show a message received but it does not come up in
inbox and also shows multiple messages but they do not
all show in inbox.

I had to re-install Windows 98.  I copied my mail and
address book by moving the whole file over to another
driver. block = copy = paste.

Im usingf Outlook express 6 on windows 98 (but had same problem using OE5
which is whi I upgarded to OE6)
My ISP requires me to authenticate outgoing emails.
I can't get Outlook express to store the outgoing mail server settings. Iv'e
