I can delete anything so I deleted the deleted items.dbx and reopened OE
so that it would rebuild it.  It shows up in OE but not in the list of .dbx
files.
And I still can't delete anything.

When I click on an email in my Outlook Express Inbox, I

In VB I can Capture a single Email Message using OLEDragDrop event.

I am the sole user of my PC but have set up a limited access a/c for
use on the net. Everything, except OE, seems to be working perfectly,
but I am neither able to send or receive emails in the limited a/c;
each time I try to do so I am asked to enter my username and password

I made the mistake of setting up two identities on my
wife's computer (XP), one under her name and one under my
name.  I backed up OE to the machine; then for two weeks,
we used her OE to read messages under my identity.  Then

I must be missing something very fundamental. I cannot
figure how to find my mail folders so I can back them up
to a CD-R. I cant find recent *.dbx files on my new XP
machine as I did on Win 98. Does XP do it entirely

I have tried yet again to reload windows in an attempt to
stop my computer jamming up but I get a message to sya
that it couldn't load 'MMSYS.CPL' as a dynamic link
library (DLL) initialization routine failed.

Does anyone know why one cannot access a link in a message
sent through OE Version 6?  I have to copy and paste the
link each time onto the browser.
