Hello;  I was copying and pasting from the Help & Support newsgroup, and I'm
not sure what I did on my keyboard, but now my font size and type have
changed. I made no changes in the options, so I'm sure it's something I
accidently hit on my keyboard, but I'll be darned if I can ...

Recently, I have had several occasions where I have
written several paragraphs and then they have toally been
deleted. This has occured when I continued to type more
text and I think I have inadvertantly hit some key.

I run xp pro & outlook express 6
Over the last few weeks i have noticed i can only delete 1 in 10 of my emails
I have re loaded xp & refreshed the inbox on a daily basis
When i try to delete in lets say the sent or other folders the same happens

I have not been able to browse any newsgroups for hte last
couple months .
OE seems to hang when requesting scna for new messages or
when listing any new newsgroups.

Is there a way to compact just the Folders.DBX file?

Before my last download of updates for Windows and Office,
Outlook Express was my default mail program. After the
updates, Outlook has become the default mail program,
however, in Outlook Express, Tools, Options, General;

When I open OE I get an error that MSN Messenger cannot
open.  When I click the OK button, the message reappears.  
The only way around the error message is to reboot and not
open OE.

I keep getting this message: " Outlook Express could not
be started because MSOE.DLL could not be loaded." in my

I think I have to rebuild my XP Pro machine.   My only concern is loosing my
OE message store.    I can reinstall all of the other software.
Does anyone know how I can Backup OE emails and Restore them on the clean XP
build for the two Identities (Logon IDs)?

A client of mine is using OE.  I admit I'm no OE expert,

I recently re-installed WinME. I backed up my OE6 address book to a
CD. When I try to import the old address book, I get an error message,
"An error occurred during the import process. The import process
cannot be completed." Typical MS, no clue as to why or what to do
