In the last few weeks ,whenever i try to respond to an
email link from within a web page,the computer freezes up
for about 30 seconds and then opens anywhere from 50 to
60 new windows ,each with the message"unable to complete

I am using XP and OE 6.0, when I click on links in emails in outlook express
they do not change color showing I have visited the link like they use to.
I have tried  Tools  Internet Options Colors and it still does not change.

Hi, I have a continuing problem with Outlook Express 6.0.
I just installed svc pack 2, but I've had this problem
well before that, with whichever version of OE Ex
I had prior. I have xp home edition. Internet exp 6.0.

Today I downloaded and installed SP2 .. now my Outlook
express comes on with an old address book and i cannot
send or f=receive email .. I get messages stating
that 'Host SMMTP could not be found"  AND " host POP3

If I remove an identity and then go back and add it again
will I lose all the mail that was in there?

I have uninstalled all my old adobe readers and upgraded

If I go to a site and download a pdf file I can read it

Some attachments to OE are removed and the following
message appears:"OE removed access to the following
unsafe attachments in your mail: CAL_ARGE.WPT". In other
instances I have xxx.pdf attachments removed or pictures

I like to read several quite busy news groups but every once in a while some
poor sick soul will post a whole pile of smut.  Is there a filter so that
headers will not appear containing selected words?
