When I launched OE this morning the window sizes were all reset and the mail
rules are missing
I back up tha mail folder twice a week so my question is: where are they
stored?

both had a virus. Has this happened to anyone else. Thank
god for virus scan. I didn't download them. I scanned them

I'm having probs setting up Eudora, Mozilla Thunderbird & other Mail
checkers i want to road test since i can't find the correct server account
details for my free hotmail accounts;  this is frustrating since i'm fairly
certain i'm being daft.

In Outlook Express 6 (Win2000), the message headlines are still present, and
the program is receiving messages, but you
can't see any message text, it is invisible.  I've checked in Documents and
Settings/.../Microsoft/Identities/OutLook Express and I have found the

I have just tried to create a new e-mail. The suggested servers for me are
POP3 and SMTP.  But when I click Send/Receive, it says I am not connected
and give me this error:
The host 'pop3' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the

I'd like to move some newsgroup messages to a different OE store on a different PC, but I would like to maintain the threads (i.e., the message hierarchy).  How can I do this?  (Copying the messages to a local folder loses the thread.)

I have a problem with Outlook Express not saving the

I sent an email with the wrong address, and the error message keeps popping
up with "rejected by server, protocol SMTP, etc etc Error Number . . . "  I
can't get rid of it, and every time I open or close Outlook Express, I get it
again.  Can anyone help?

Can someone tell me...is it possible to create mailto: shortcuts if you have
multiple e-mail accounts? I mean...will the shortcut work or will having
more than one email account interfere with the operation of the shortcut?

My internet explorer is performing illegal operations on
the BBC site and is closed down. This began after a real
one download to run the streaming media on that site.  Can
anyone help?
