My Outlook Express main identity wouldn't accept my password this
morning and my ISP advised the identity was corrupt and I should
set-up new one. I have done this and it's working but need access to
some messages I have saved in folders on the old identity. I have

After installing Service Pack 2, I cannot access my hotmail account
through OE.  (See error messages below)  I have all of the microsof
sites as trusted, and have tried this with the firewall both on an
off.  Anyone else having this same issue or know of a resolution?

Has any body out there got any idears why the spell check
in outlook exspress dose not work. As it would be great
to have working, or any idears of how to get it working.

I try to update to see if a question has been answered or there has been a response to the post.  Is there a way to get notification of an answered question or update to a thread in these groups?

A recent problem. The links do work when clicked but, no longer show purple.
Have deleted, History file, TIF and cookies. Have registered urlmon.dll
Just checked another profile. Seems to be global, not per user.

Before SP2 when I start OE it opens to my inbox using my default identity -
no problem.
After SP2 Every time I start OE the identity login box comes up and says
there is no current identity and I have to type my password for the default

I'm running xp-pro and OE 6 - I'd like to send out a monthly e-newsletter
and would like to dress it up as a regular newsletter - like the ones that a
lot of companies send out - is there a free program that I can download, or
any other ideas would be appreciated

I can receive emails with pictures attached or imbedded,
however, when I forward them, they are just boxes with a
red x in the top left corner.  The resolution for this is:

I would like to set up OE so that I can keep old postings from
certain newgroups indefinitely on my PC for future reference
and lookup.
I have been told that the postings are deleted locally when they are deleted

Since the SP2 patch has downloaded I've not been able to send large files,

   Can anyone suggest how one can be certain to have downloaded *all* the
current headers in an NG such as XP gen, where the number posted each day is
quite large?  Setting the 'number of headers' to 1000 seems a little extreme
for any other newsgroup.  I may well be going about ...
