When I click on a message in Outlook Express the CPU load jumps to 100%.
Emails take an average of 10-20 seconds to load.  I tried disabling my
Norton Internet Security but that didn't help it any.  Is anyone familiar
with this problem and what may be causing it?

I was running Nero burning rom. I opened outlook express

When I run spellcheck, it appears to be working but when
it highlights a word to be altered. The choice to change
