Currently using OE 6 on a WinME system.  I need to be able to transfer the
email from here onto another computer running WinXP Pro.  Is there a file on
my WinME system where all email from all email accounts and newsgroups
account are stored that I can load/import into the WinXP ...

My OE6 was corrupted, and I had to uninstall it from
Add/Remove Programs.  I accessed my Win ME Startup files
within Add/Remove Programs, and OE is not displayed as a
component or a sub-component eligible for reinstallation.

In OE I click on a message and press the Delete key. The messages is marked
with a line through it, but it still stays there. Why is it not being
removed?

anyone know what I can do here? internet explorer won't
let me set outlook as my default mail program.  Outlook
isn't even on the list.  when I open OE, it tells me it's
not the default and asks if I want to make it so, I say

When I launch Outlook 2003 and even after exiting, it stays next to my clock
on the right hand side in my toolbar.
Is there a way to make Outlook not do that?

How do I delete outgoing email?  I have one with to many
pictures and I can't send any emails until I get rid of

I was running Windows 98 using OE6 and my motherboard died-I was able to
save my C: drive and install it in my new PC (running XP) its now the G:
drive-I am unable to run the OE6 that was on that drive-I would like to be
able to retrieve my old Inbox and Drafts messages-is there any ...

I would like to set a mail rule to "Delete from server" all mail from anyone
that is NOT in my address book.  Is there a way to do that and will OE keep
track of changes in the address book?

OE crashes losing emails I'm trying to write, whenever I attempt to access
the Sent Items folder.  It's driving me crazy!
It has started doing it in the last few days - since I applied a recent

I have XP Home and am on cable for internet.
Of late there has been a definite slowdown of downloads of web pages and
emails into my Inbox. There is a noticable sluggishness/reluctance  to start

I had a problem with my computer and had to have the OS reinstalled.  I compacted all my mail folders and wrote them to CD.  Problem is, now I can't import them back.
When I use File > Import and select directory where they are, I get a "No messages found in this file blah blah ...
